The question being pondered today is what will be the outlook of the blackjack card counters. are the days of counting cards over? Many believe so.

Automated shuffling is being used in todays tables which makes tracking shuffles or card counting impractical. The land based betting houses are going to place shuffling machines at the tables.

It is believed that in locations like vegas, surveillance cameras are being utilized to look at the skill of the gamblers and intelligent twenty-one tables that records gamblers hands and strategies by utilizing magnetized chips.

The Nevada State Gaming Commission, an agency that ensures honest gaming has made a decision that casinos may not change the games in a manner that would change the frequency of the payouts. Since then, many Nevada brick and mortar casinos train their dealers to card count and shuffle whenever they want, also a wide variety of betting houses keeps information on players who, this information consists of names and photos to keep them away from the game.

So what will be the future of this twenty-one "war"? is it just starting or will it before long arrive at an end? Despite all their most recent technology, political and money influences, I believe there remains a hope for a happy result. With in excess of twenty-five states within the United States allowing twenty-one games, there are more profit opportunities for card counting than back in the good ole’ days.
