I have enjoyed millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a number of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
