I have bet on countless of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a number of days ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
