I have gambled on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
