I have bet on countless of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of cash at 21. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or beat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely fun at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a few months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Bet $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 bet

Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Bet $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
