I have bet on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
